You play the role of a cocaine-addicted father who doesn't get on very well with his wife Emily in Parental Love. You can't take care of your home and don't spend enough time with your children because of your drug addiction. Emily and your two daughters hope to experience even a brief moment of happiness with you, but it's almost impossible because you're rarely sober. Exasperated by your bad habits, your wife decided to leave you, and won the divorce. As a result, she was awarded sole custody of your daughters.

During the fifteen years of separation, you took charge of your life by enrolling in various detox programs. Now that you're clean, you want to rekindle the past with Emily. In the beginning, you had a long-distance relationship with her, since you live in distant states, and it worked quite well between you. Wanting to get back to your old life, you made a long journey to join her. The story picks up again when you run into her in a bar in Ohio after years of losing touch.
